Who are we?

Laura Farrell

Laura Farrell is a highly experienced mental health professional with over 18 years in nursing, education, and mental health leadership roles across Australia and Ireland. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychiatric Nursing and a Master’s in Mental Health Nursing, and has dedicated her career to improving how individuals and workplaces approach mental wellbeing.

Laura spent over a decade working in Australia’s forensic hospital system, progressing through staff nurse, management, and education roles. Her work focused on supporting people in high-stress, high-risk environments while also mentoring healthcare teams on best-practice mental health care. Prior to this, she worked for six years in general mental health settings in Ireland, giving her a broad and compassionate understanding of mental health challenges across communities.

A strong advocate for preventative health and early intervention, Laura specialises in translating clinical knowledge into practical, accessible tools for workplaces—particularly those in high-pressure industries like construction and the trades. She believes the key to a mentally healthy workforce is early awareness, honest conversations, and building confidence in everyday support strategies.

Whether she’s leading a workshop or consulting on organisational policy, Laura brings clarity, credibility, and care to everything she does.
